Privacy policy

This policy explains how To be confirmed ("ÉLANSOR", "we") handles your personal data when you visit this website or buy from us, in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

What we collect

Order details you enter at checkout: name, email, phone number, billing and delivery address, the products you buy and any code you use.
Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We see only limited information such as the card brand and last four digits, never the full card number.
Referral programme: your referral code, and the orders and credits linked to it.
Messages you send us, and technical data such as IP address, used to protect the website from abuse.

Cookies and browser storage

We use only what the shop needs to work: your browser keeps your cart, chosen delivery country and any referral code you arrived with, and two secure cookies link your browser to the checkout you started so we can confirm your payment. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't track you across other websites.

Why we use it

To take payment, deliver your order and provide customer support (performing our contract with you).
To run the referral programme you take part in.
To keep accounting and tax records we are legally required to keep.
To prevent fraud and keep the website secure (our legitimate interests).

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't send marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

Stripe, our payment provider, which also stores our order records.
Couriers, who receive your name, phone number and delivery address.
Hosting and IT providers that run this website.
Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers process data outside the UAE. Where they do, we rely on their contractual and security safeguards for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as required by UAE tax and commercial law (generally at least five years), and other data only as long as needed for the purposes above.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, to delete it (where we don't have to keep it by law), to restrict or object to its use, or to withdraw consent. Contact us to make a request. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office.
